Quality essential oils often come when companies enforce rigorous testing procedures. However, most companies overlook some of the testing steps of the process. Omitting quality testing and control can severely compromise the integrity of the product.
Not putting products through these testing procedures raises the question of whether the result is pure essential oil. The values of crucial oils call for purity of the highest concentration, where companies must pour time, effort, and money into their development. Where most companies will not invest in quality, our meticulous testing process ensures our essential oils are premium.
We use a third-party laboratory to test our products, guarantee transparency, a long shelf life, and quality essential oils. Trust that every batch gets intricately examined to assure our customers of a premium product.
Essential Oils Purity
Purity is an integral value of essential oils. Any products that aren't pure or use synthetic fillers don't yield their benefits or purpose. Furthermore, impure essential oils can potentially put your health at risk. So why compromise or concern yourself with products that lack purity? Our essential oils are consistently guaranteed quality with a certificate of purification.
Researching how a company sources ingredients, manufactures products, and quality tests are vital in understanding essential oils' purity. Ask the following questions to gauge how purity levels of the products.
We use a carefully designed four-stage process to ensure the quality and purity of our essential oils. This includes an analysis of the chemical compounds of the products and three stages of testing to reiterate its quality. Learn more about each step below.
Step 1 - Chemistry
Chemistry makes up the core of purity in essential oils. Our scientists and engineers distill aromatic compounds from plant material, ensuring a delicate balance to what makes up the most quality product. The initial testing phase analyzes the essential oils' ingredients against the product's ideal profile.
Step 2 - Physical Testing
The next phase of the quality control is to run the essential oil batch through physical tests. These include:
Step 3 - Contamination Testing
Once the batch has passed its physical examination, it will move on to the next phase, checking for any contaminants that might have compromised quality. The essential oils get checked for harmful microorganisms, heavy metals, and pesticides in this step, using two purity tests.
Heavy metal testing involves using an inductively coupled plasma (ICP) to ionize the sample. After, it gets processed through a mass spectroscope. The device will separate the elements, making it easy to detect whether there are any harmful heavy metals inside.
The essential oils will then see microbial testing to detect any presence of hazardous microorganisms or chemicals. Samples are drawn, added to a sterile growth medium, and left for some time to catch any microbial growth.
Step 4 - Ongoing Stability Testing
The final testing stage verifies the essential oils' longevity and capability to remain pure. The series of tests involves placing the oils in rooms with different atmospheric conditions and ensuring that the products retain their purity through any atmosphere fluctuations. Once passed, the tests provide peace of mind that the oils will remain of the highest quality for years to come.
