  • Patchouli is a member of the mint family. It is known to help with skin inadequacies, while providing grounding, harmonizing effect on emotions. It is easily recognized for its rich, musky-sweet fragrance.

Patchouli is regularly used in the perfume industry as well as in perfumed products such as washing cleaners and air fresheners. Patchouli is advantageous to the skin in many ways. It is often used to help reduce the entrance of wrinkles, blemishes, and minor skin imperfections and to promote a smooth, glowing complexion.

Its fragrance is useful in clearing mind and keeping it focused. The plant is native to Malaysia and India, where it is known as 'puchaput'. The word is derived from Hindustan word 'patch' meaning 'green' and 'ilai' meaning 'leaf.'
